Moken Eco Resort - Thailand

Moken Eco Resort is located in a prime position on Phra Thong Bay. There are 10 large beach bungalows made from local natural materials. All beach bungalows have tasteful interiors and private bathrooms with hot water. Moken Eco Resort is the only Koh Phra Thong accommodation with inclusive breakfast as standard.

Each beach bungalow at Moken Eco has individual styling reflected by the house name. Allocation is dependent on availability and occupancy, as some houses are more suited to couples and others to families.

Moken Eco Resort is directly on the beach of a protected bay. Families can enjoy the shallow tropical water as it is sheltered from the Andaman Sea. The white sandy beach stretches for 15km. It is shared only with Horizon Beach Resort (500m to the south).

There is a coral reef close to the shore to explore. This can be done by snorkeling & kayaking. The resort has english speaking, knowledgeable, local guides who can help you get the most out of exploring nearby islands & reefs by longtail boat.

Low Season : 1st November - 19th November - 2,400Bt per night

High Season : 20th November to 15th December - 3,000Bt per night

Peak Season: 16th December to 14th January - 3,600Bt per night

High Season: 15th January - 31st March - 3,000Bt per night

Low Season : 1st April - 30th April - 2,400Bt per night

Closed for Green Season: 1st May - 31st October

Rates are for 2 people and inclusive of breakfast. Double or twin beds available.

Extra Occupancy: Infants (0-3yrs) - No additional charge, Children (4-11yrs) - 400Bt, Adults (12+) - 700Bt. All extra occupancy charges are per night and include breakfast. Max Occupancy: 4 pax.

Travel advice for Moken Eco Resort

Please familiarise yourself with the area through our local transport and international transport pages. The Koh Phra Thong beaches page provides guidance on the west coast of the island.
On booking Moken Eco we will advise the travel desk of your arrival date. If you have specific travel requirements involving taxis then you can contact them in advance to arrange.
There are three different entry points to the island depending on tide & time of year. These are Ta Pae Yoi, Baan Lions and Phra Thong Bay. Optimal transfers can be arranged where guests provide travel details in a timely fashion.
Once on Koh Phra Thong, we will arrange transfers from your arrival point to Moken Eco Resort. Pricing of internal transfers is not affected by the arrival point but does vary between resorts.
